The Adventures of Conan

Once upon a time a lonely traffic cone was adopted by a happy couple and saved from a hard life of monotony.  No longer would he have to stand out in the rain and shine, tirelessly showing people where they can and can't park.  For Conan's safety, I won't mention which parking lot he was rescued from, only to say that it was from a restaurant and not from the side of the road.  I don't know if that makes it better, but in my mind it does ...

How Conan looked when we adopted him

I also think "adopted" sound better than stolen. Although I'm sure than anyone would agree that we have taken Conan on some awesome road trip adventures:
Packed and ready to go for his first road trip

Conan at Monkeyland in Plett

Conan contemplates life, the universe and everything at The Labyrinth
Oh how he liked laying in the hammock.

Half way between George and Knysna

Conan with his souvenir friend from Monkeyland. He wanted a real monkey, but we said no.
Even Conan needs a bathroom break on such a long trip

At Rust en Vrede waterfalls in Oudtshoorn

A day at the beach

Conan's brief career as a lifeguard. It didn't go well (he can't swim)

Conan finds a gnome village.  He loved their hats.

Conan playing the fool. The garden gnome was not impressed.
